Questions about cooking events
- Most online classes are open globally — the listing will specify any regional restrictions or time zones. The Time Out guide to online cooking classes and Airbnb Online Experiences offer comparable options if our schedule doesn't fit.
- Use the "Submit an event" button at the bottom of this page. Include the event name, date, type, a one-line summary, and a link to the organiser's own page. We review every submission before publishing — paid or sponsored listings are labelled.
- October has several significant food days. World Food Day falls on 16 October every year, designated by the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization). World Bread Day is also on 16 October. International Chefs Day is 20 October. World Pasta Day is 25 October.
- Some are free and some are paid — this varies by organiser and event type. Each listing shows the price or states "Free." Online classes from CookTheGuide are always free. Third-party workshops, festivals and competitions set their own prices.
